TV ad buying is changing rapidly

Rich Tullo told Benzinga that Adobe’s acquisition of TubeMogul “validates the DSP TV model” and provides TubeMogul with the necessary balance sheet scale and technology scale to compete in a “scaling industry.”

A demand-side platform (DSP) enables advertisers to purchase display ad inventory via real-time bidding (RTB) exchanges.

Tullo also suggested that the the acquisition validates his view that MDC Partners Inc MDCA 5.22% “should be and can be” sold at a premium of at least 100 percent to Thursday’s share price, especially after the company just removed a “huge overhang.”
